Sunday 29th November
If you scroll down to Sunday the 8th of November, you will find a picture of the church which lots of you have coloured in wonderfully. Some of you added ears to your pictures when we learned that church is for hearing God speak, and lots of you added a jigsaw person when we learned that church is one body made of many parts. Last week, you might have made vine bunting to add too.
This week, we are learning that church is for ever! Why not cut out the letters to make your picture say 'Church is for... ever!'. (You could print the file below to help). You can download the church picture if you scroll down to Sunday the 8th of November. Please keep on sending pictures of your brilliant crafts to adam.heaton@cornerstonechurch.org.uk if you would like us to show them in a family service and add them to the website gallery. |

Sunday 22nd NovemberThis Sunday, why not make some memory verse bunting to remind you that 'In Christ we, though many, form one body'. Cut out some leaf shapes to colour in, and write a word of the verse on each of them. When you hang them in order, you'll be able to read the whole verse across your bunting. You could use Romans 12:5 'In Christ we, though many, form one body' - or you could you make John 15:5 'I am the vine; you are the branches'.
You could print and cut around these shapes below or draw your own. ![]()

Sunday 15th November
The church is one body, made up of different parts. Make a jigsaw to remind you that the different pieces of the church fit together into one united body. You could print this outline to cut around and then divide into puzzle pieces, or you could draw your own.
Divide your body outline into puzzle pieces with a pen, and then cut along all the lines to make your puzzle. The smaller your make the pieces, the harder it will be. See if you can put it back together! |

After watching the 9.15am family service, perhaps you could colour in this fantastic picture of Cornerstone. Remember Kathryn would love to see photos of what you do kathryn.jackson@cornerstonechurch.org.uk
Each week we’ll be adding something to our pictures to represent what we have been learning about Church. This week we have been learning that Church is for hearing God speak and so we’re going to add an ear to our picture. Cut out an ear and stick it onto your coloured in picture.
If you don’t have a printer perhaps you could draw Cornerstone or build Cornerstone out of Lego or Duplo instead. Whatever you do we’d love to include you in a shout out next week so do email.

Update 03/11/2020
While we are unable to meet for Bible Workshops, we will return to a weekly family service online at 9.15am.
It was wonderful to see so many of you at Bible Workshops last Sunday and we look forward to welcoming you back when we are able to.

Sunday 1st November
This week, some Cornerstone children will be meeting in Bible Workshops for the first time since March. Some children won’t be coming to Bible Workshops but we don’t want you to miss out. So, from 15th November, there will be fortnightly videos from Katrina, Adam, and Kathryn for those of you doing church at home.
On the other weeks, tune into the 9.15am family service.
This week we’ve been super busy getting everything ready for Ignite the Light and for the first Bible Workshop, so we are going to use a resource called ‘Virtual Sunday School.’ The theme we are looking at this morning is Church as a Body - this links with what we’ve be doing in our family services.
You’ll need a piece of cardboard (cereal packet will do), a pair of scissors and some pens or pencils as you watch this week.
Don’t worry, familiar faces will be back from next week!
